The brief
A modern home online for a mutual that has protected Pennsylvania since 1876.
What we did
Formed in 1876 by local businessmen who wanted dependable fire coverage for their own community, Farmers Mutual has spent nearly 150 years insuring homes, farms, rental properties, and businesses across the Commonwealth. Their website needed to carry that history without feeling like a relic.
We built a photography-led site rooted in the Pennsylvania countryside they serve, and organized coverage into plain-language sections. The things policyholders actually come for — find an agent, make a payment, file a claim — sit right up front, and the mutual difference (owned by policyholders, not shareholders) is stated plainly.
The outcome
A warm, credible presence that reflects nearly 150 years of neighbors insuring neighbors — and makes everyday policyholder tasks effortless.
