            Our Commitment: CSV 2 Sheets is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Your files go directly from your Mac to your Google Drive — we never see them.
        

Information We Don't Collect

CSV 2 Sheets does not collect:

Your CSV file contents
Your Google account credentials
Usage analytics or tracking data
Device identifiers
Location information
Any personal information

How the App Works

When you use CSV 2 Sheets:

Authentication: You sign in to Google using Google's secure OAuth 2.0 system. Your password is never shared with our app — Google handles all authentication.
File Upload: Your CSV files are sent directly from your Mac to Google's servers using the Google Sheets API. The data passes through your internet connection only.
Local Storage: The app stores your authentication tokens securely in macOS Keychain to keep you signed in. No file data is ever stored locally.

Google Account Access

CSV 2 Sheets requests the following permissions from Google:

Google Sheets: To create new spreadsheets in your Google Drive
Email Address: To display your account name in the app

We do not request access to read your existing Google Drive files, emails, or any other Google services.

Data Storage

All data storage happens on your devices and Google's servers:

macOS Keychain: Stores encrypted authentication tokens
UserDefaults: Stores app preferences (theme, settings)
Google Drive: Stores the spreadsheets you create

We do not operate any servers that store your data.

Third-Party Services

CSV 2 Sheets uses:

Google OAuth 2.0: For secure sign-in (Google's Privacy Policy)
Google Sheets API: For creating spreadsheets (Google's Privacy Policy)
Apple StoreKit: For in-app purchases (Apple's Privacy Policy)

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy

CSV 2 Sheets is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
